CASS is calling for all Alumni

The Central Algoma Secondary School Huskies are calling all former athletes for their annual Alumni Day festivities next week.

The 10th boys hockey game is scheduled for Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Bruce Mines Arena.

On Friday, the 5th girls volleyball game will be held at noon followed by the 29th boys basketball alumni game at 1:30 p.m. in the school's gym.

*** GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SEASON OPENS:

The Central Algoma Secondary School girls volleyball teams travelled to Elliot Lake for their first league tournament.

The senior girls finished the day with 3 wins and no losses by defeating Elliot Lake 25-20, 25-15, Blind River 17-25, 25-18, 15-3, Manitoulin 19-25, 25-11, 15-10.

The junior girls defeated Blind River 2 games to 0, Elliot Lake 2 games to 0 before losing to Manitoulin 1 game to 2.

The girls now travel to Espanola on Dec. 20 for another league tournament.
