In senior high school football action on Friday night, the Korah Colts continued an unbeaten run to start the season with a 37-8 win over St. Mary’s.
Jacob Jurich and Zac Zeppa had a pair of touchdowns each for the Colts in the win.
Jurich had touchdown runs of one and seven yards while Zeppa’s majors came on runs of three and 17 yards.
Noah Grasley caught a 52-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jordan Robinson-Wright, who threw for 140 yards on four completions in the contest.
Michael Nicoletta led the Colts with 90 yards rushing on six carries while Jurich had 82 yards on nine carries.
Defensively for the Colts, Tyler Brechin had an interception to go along with three tackles and an assisted tackle.
Jacob Pedinelli had the lone touchdown for St. Mary’s on an 18-yard pass.
Defensively for St. Mary’s, Evan Sicoly had six tackles and six assisted tackles while Carter Bonin had five tackles and five assisted tackles.
The high school football schedule resumes on Thursday night as White Pines faces Korah in junior action. Kickoff at Superior Heights is set for 6 p.m.
On Friday night St. Mary’s faces Superior Heights in a double header at Superior Heights. Kickoff for the junior game is set for 4:45 p.m. with the senior game to follow at 7:30 p.m.
