A goal by Matt Irving late in regulation time lifted Croatia to a 1-0 win and the Mid Season Championship in the Sault Amateur Soccer Association Premiere Division.
Irving's goal to defeat Bavarian Inn capped what was a tight and competitive tournament between all teams.
Croatia advanced to the final with an intense 1-0 win over U-Betcha in the semi-final as Karl Trost kicked the game winner in the final minute of overtime.
In the other semi-final, Scott Bell scored twice including the overtime winner as Bavarian Inn nipped The Athlete's Foot 2-1. Jeff Diluzio scored the lone goal in a losing cause.
Regular season action contiues into August with a playoff champion to be crowned in about a month.
