The Sir James Dunn Eagles did what they needed to do on Thursday night at Rocky DiPietro Field.
Needing a win to keep their playoff dreams alive in the High School Football League senior division, the Eagles stormed back from an early 10-0 deficit to score a 33-16 win over the St. Basil Saints.
With the win, the Eagles have forced a tiebreaker, which will be played early next week.
Should Bawating beat White Pines on Saturday, the Eagles and Saints will meet again in a tiebreaker on Monday night. Should White Pines win, a three way tie between Bawating, St. Basil and Sir James Dunn is created and a tie breakng formula will be used to detertime the tiebreaker contest.
Further details will be added later today.
