Aaron Fiacconi made an early season move from the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
With the move, Fiacconi went from a team with a realistic shot at the Grey Cup to a team scratching and clawing for their playoff lives.
But the St. Mary's Knights grad is not about to complain.
The trade also saw Fiacconi make the move from a backup offensive lineman in Montreal to a starting centre with the Blue Bombers.
