Former OUA All-star Ian Hazlett is offering a specialized football camp for players heading into the high school football season.

Hazlett, along with Defensive Back Kurtis Morrison, a current member of the McMaster Marauders, Defensive Lineman Mitch Carkner, a former star at Queens University and former Queens University Quarterback Mike Stone, will be leading the camp.

The camp consists of drills, skills, strategies and scrimmages, as well as specific coaching for all positions including kickers and longsnappers. There will be controlled contact focusing on technique and execution as well as strength, flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning training.

The camp is open to all players aged 13-18 and is going to be divided into two divisions. Players aged 13-15 will be placed in the junior camp while those 15-18 will be placed in the senior camp. Exceptions can be made as the discretion of the co-ordinator based on a players size and experience.

The camp will open on August 13 and run until August 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All events will taker place at Sir James Dunn.

The camp will feature 5 two-hour practices, a Soo Gridiron Bootcamp jersey, daily and week end awards, a detailed report card at conclusion, water provided at all practices, athletic therapist on site at all times, and coaching from premier Canadian players
