Dozens of young hockey players scored autographs and photographs from their favourite Soo Greyhounds at the annual Bell Celebrity Skate fundraiser Tuesday night.
Held at the GFL Memorial Gardens, the three-hour event supports Rotary Youth Programs such as THRIVE Child Development Centre, Easter Seals Ontario, Student Youth Exchange and the Youth District Science Fair.
Along with Bell, sponsors include Village Media (which operates SooToday), ASAPP Financial Technology, Canadian Tire, DIG, GFL Environmental, McDougall Energy, Northcrest Lanes, Savoy’s Jewellers and Superior Emergency Services.
