Goulais run opens at Searchmont

Searchmont Ski Resort advises that that this week's snowfall and cool temperatures have enabled it to reopen the Goulais Run today.

If the favourable conditions continue, snowmaking will resume on The Slalom later today, with opening expected by the middle of next week.

"We will continue to make snow around the clock to ensure the great conditions on the slopes are maintained, and to allow the opening of more runs," the resort advises.

"The better-than-average conditions on the mountain are attracting groups of skiers and boarders from all over Michigan, Indiana, Illinios, Wisconsin and all parts of Ontario."
