Greyhounds beach Whalers

The Soo Greyhounds rebounded their way back into the win column after a tough loss in Sarnia the previous night. On Friday in Plymouth, the Hounds scored two third period goals to seal a 3-1 victory over the Whalers.

The Soo Greyhounds rebounded their way back into the win column after a tough loss in Sarnia the previous night.

On Friday in Plymouth, the Hounds scored two third period goals to seal a 3-1 victory over the Whalers.

David Kuchejda scored in the first period and Ryan Kitchen added another in the third for a 2-0 Greyhounds lead.

Mike Letizia pulled the Whalers to within a goal with 1:38 remaining but Andrew Desjardins added an empty net goal for the Hounds to seal the win.

Kyle Gajewski was selected as the game's first star after stopping 28 of 29 shots. The Hounds fired 31 shots at Plymouth.

The Greyhounds conlcude their three-game rod trip on Sunday against the Saginaw Spirit at 2 p.m.
