Sault Ste. Marie will once again be represented on the national sports stage as Ryan Harnden's rink from the Soo Curlers Association captured the Northern Ontario Junior Men's Curling Championship on Saturday night.
Hosted by Soo Curlers, Harnden rolled past Thunder Bay's Eric Theriault 7-3 in the final to claim the provincial title.
Harnden, with Clint Cudmore, Johnny Miners and Steve Molodovich, now advance to the national championships as Northern Ontario representatives in St. Catherines Feb. 3-10.
