The St. Basil Saints opened up their offensive attack in a big way on Wednesday night. Mike Dias, Rob Amadio, Nathan Richichi and Steve Luxton each scored twice in the Saints 14-0 defeat of the Bawating Braves. Donnie Bruni recorded the win in goal.

The St. Basil Saints opened up their offensive attack in a big way on Wednesday night.

Mike Dias, Rob Amadio, Nathan Richichi and Steve Luxton each scored twice in the Saints 14-0 defeat of the Bawating Braves. Donnie Bruni recorded the win in goal.

Vinnie Scornaienchi's hat trick and one assist performance led the St. Mary's Knights past the Korah 8-5. Jordan Rochetta and Anthony Amadio scored two goals each for the winners while Matt Kudyba added another.

Jourdan Morin paced the Colts with two goals while singles went to Kyle Morely, Tyson Vanderloo and Daniel Ferris.

In Desbarats, Stephane Bouliane scored twice for Sir James Dunn while Calahan Spurway scored two more for Central Algoma in a 2-2 tie.

Action continues next Wednesday at the John Rhodes Community Centre as St. Basil meets White Pines at 7 p.m. followed by Bawating and St. Mary's at 8:45 p.m.
