Last night in Men's 1st Division soccer action, Hollywood/Athlete's Foot beat Systems International/PSC by a score of 2-1. Systems International/PSC opened the scoring on a well struck free kick taken by Andrew Posteraro from twenty yards.

Last night in Men's 1st Division soccer action, Hollywood/Athlete's Foot beat Systems International/PSC by a score of 2-1.

Systems International/PSC opened the scoring on a well struck free kick taken by Andrew Posteraro from twenty yards.

Hollywood/Athlete's Foot tied the score in the second half when Tommy Katagis booted in a loose ball in front of the net. Moments later Katagis narrowly missed on an excellent attempt via bicycle kick.

Ollie Viotto scored the game winner on a rocket of a volley after being set up perfectly by Chris Montanini.

All five teams in the city's premiere soccer league are preparing for the upcoming midseason championship.

Action begins on Friday, July 21 with a battle between the division's fourth and fifth place teams at 7 p.m. The semi-finals are held on Saturday with first place hosting the winner of the Friday game at 3 p.m. while second place meets third at 7 p.m. The tournament championship is Sunday, July 23 at 5 p.m.
