A goal by Jiri Tlusty goal with six seconds remaining in regulation time while Brandon MacLean got the winner in a shootout as the Soo Greyhounds defeated the Windsor Spitfires 3-2.
John Kurts scored late in the second period to open the scoring for Windsor and gave the Spitfires a 2-0 lead midway through the third period.

Andrew Desjardins cut into the Windsor lead with just over five minutes remaining setting the stage for the Tlusty goal. With Blake Parlett in the penalty box, Tlusty potted goal number 10 on the season to tie the game.
After the Greyhounds recorded the lone shot of overtime, the game went into a shootout.
Bradley Snetsinger scored the first goal of the shootout for Windsor. Cody Thornton scored on the Greyhounds first attempt. After Tlusty and Dustin Jeffrey missed their attempts for the Greyhounds Brandon MacLean beat Andrew Engelage to give the Hounds the victory.
The win improves the Hounds record to 26-20-0-5 and leaves them sitting in fourth spot in the West Division.
Next up for the Greyhunds will be matchup with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors on Thursday night at St. Mihael's arena in Toronto. The game starts a three game road trip that will also take them to Erie on Satuday and Brampton on Sunday.
