Homestand continues for Soo Indians An 8-4 triumph over the Blind River Beavers on Wednesday night moved the Soo Indians into third place in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League with a 14-9-1 record. Newcomer Shane Bailey made his Indians' debut with two goals in the win over Blind River. Bailey, who played for Blind River last season, joined the Indians from Southern Minnesota of the North American Hockey League earlier in the week. The Indians will play host to North Bay tonight (Friday) and Sudbury on Saturday with both games 7 p.m. starts at Big Bear Arena. Veteran Sean Farley continues to lead the Indians in scoring with 17-7-24 totals. Defensively, the Indians have the best goals-against-average in the NOJHL with Elliott Hogue and Brennan Poderzay between the pipes. Admission is $5 to all Indians home games.
