Knights open OFSAA with a win

In Girls 'AA' OFSSA Basketball in New Liskeard, the St. Mary's Knights started on the right foot by defeating Timmins Theriault 56-20. Kathleen Thorburn, who went 4-for-5 from the three point line, led all scorers with 12 points.

In Girls 'AA' OFSSA Basketball in New Liskeard, the St. Mary's Knights started on the right foot by defeating Timmins Theriault 56-20.

Kathleen Thorburn, who went 4-for-5 from the three point line, led all scorers with 12 points. Steph Colizza chipped in with 10 points, Vanessa Chaimbrone contributed 8, Melissa Thibeault and Kira Favaro both added 6 each.

The Knights next action is Friday morning at 9 a.m.
