Korah beats CASS in Lively tournament final

The Korah Colts hockey team were undefeated in this weekend's Lively District Secondary School Hockey Tournament. The Colts swept their division in round robin action, beating Lively 5-4, St. Benedicts 3-0 and Confederation by a score of 5-4.

The Korah Colts hockey team were undefeated in this weekend's Lively District Secondary School Hockey Tournament.

The Colts swept their division in round robin action, beating Lively 5-4, St. Benedicts 3-0 and Confederation by a score of 5-4. In semifinal action, Korah outscored the Lasalle Lancers 5-2.

The Korah Colts and the CASS Huskies met in the tournament final, and battled hard to a regulation 1-1 tie. With 36 seconds left in the 5 minute sudden-death overtime period, Jeff McAllister broke the tie, scoring on a end-to-end rush, picking up his own rebound from a blueline shot.
