The London Knights can be beaten.

Despite the fact, like many teams at this time of year, the Knights were missing some serious fire power from their lineup, the Sudbury Wolves walked into the John Labatt Centre in London on Friday night and handed the Knights their first loss of the season by a score of 5-2.

The loss ended a Canadian Hockey League record of 31 consecutive games without a loss.

London was missing captain Danny Syvret and snipers Corey Perry and Rob Schremp, who are all a part of the Canadian National Junior Team.

The Wolves rallied from a 2-0 deficit before tying the game with eight minutes remaining in the third period. Bobby Chaumont scored the game winner before the Wolves added a pair of empty net goals.
