The Hot Shoe 100 is set to return to Kinross Speedpark in the summer of 2020.

The event is the highest-paying Modified event in Michigan and among the top in the United States as well and will return to Kinross on the weekend of Aug. 6-8.

“Its exciting to be able to release this news at this time of the year so that fans, competitors and sponsors can pencil in such a marquee event in their calendar and know when and where it will take place,” said Kinross director of public relations and race day operations Gerry Liscumb Jr. in a prepared statement.

“I saw, and was part of, the tremendous time and effort our volunteer crew and drivers here at Kinross put in to be able to host the event this past summer,” Liscumb added. “For that collective group to be rewarded once again and tasked with raising the bar once again and welcoming all these people into our racing family is an honor.”

The annual event was hosted by the track for the first time last summer and brought in 52 of the best Modified drivers from the United States and Canada and hosted over 100 drivers in various divisions.

The event began in 2014 as a fundraiser and one-day event and has since grown to a two-day event that has raised over $35,000 for cancer charities.

Blake Rowe of Ortonville, Mich. won the 2019 event.
