The Soo North Stars continued to roll on Saturday night as they capped off a weekend sweep of the Valley East Cobra's in Great North Midget League action on Saturday night.
The North Stars took a 4-0 first period lead and cruised to a 9-3 victory.
Matt D'Agostini led the way offensively for the North Stars with two goals and an assist in the win. Adam Kauppi, who had a three-point night on Friday against the Cobra's, posted another three points with a goal and two assists. Tyler Gendron also picked up a goal and two assists in the win.
Paul DuPont, Michael D'Agostini, Frank D'Addetta, Tyler Thompson and Michael Sharp also scored for the North Stars, who improved their record to a still perfect 9-0-0.
Travis O'Brien got the win in goal for the North Stars.
Next action for the North Stars will be October 18 and 19 when they take on the Timmins Majors.
