Soo Pickleball is offering classes for younger beginners from Jan. 28 to April 7 at The Tech Complex.

If you are 18 and over, athletic and want to try out a new sport, then Soo Pickleball has an invitation for you.

Those interested in learning the sport can come and learn the game in a two-hour lesson from qualified instructors.

Beginners are invited to play for 10 weeks from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays from Jan. 28 to April 7 at the The Tech Complex gym at 130 Wellington St. E.

The fee is $80 plus $25 for a Soo Pickleball/Pickleball Canada membership.

There are limited spots available.

Registration must be done online at Soo Pickleball’s website by Jan. 21.

Though the sport has traditionally been viewed as a sport for seniors, Soo Pickleball states “pickleball is not just for your grandparents. We promise you will be hooked. This is an opportunity for our younger generation to play together as they learn.”

Soo Pickleball also has registration open for three different levels of play for 10 weeks starting in February for $62.

Players must have their Soo Pickleball/Pickleball Canada membership to play.
