The Soo Greyhounds will be well-represented at this year’s Hlinka Gretzky Cup, a summer showcase featuring some of the world’s top U18 hockey talent.

Forward Brady Martin cracked the Team Canada roster, while Hounds teammate Travis Hayes will suit up for the American squad.

Lukas David Holub, a defenceman selected by the Sault in last month’s Import Draft, is on the roster for Team Czechia.

The eight-team tournament begins in Edmonton on Aug. 5, with all games broadcast on TSN.

Prior to the start of the tournament, Team Canada will take on Slovakia tonight at 7 p.m., followed by another exhibition game against Czechia on Aug. 3.
