Sault College undefeated in women's hoops

The Sault College Cougars remain undefeated through two weeks of play in the Algoma Basketball Association women's summer league.

The Cougars, featuring many of their regular varsity players, used Julie Kelly's team-leading 10 points to defeat Cambrian Mazda 42-30 at Sault College on Thursday night.

Alisha Moon added nine points and Katie Healy eight for the winners. Jessica Stone led Cambrain Mazda with 11 points while Roberta Reid added seven.

In the second game, Pabst Blue Ribbon defeated Sault This Week 23-16. Stella Viotto with nine points and Katie Hamilton with six led the winners. Jen Perugini replied with 10 points for Sault This Week.

Action continues every Thursday at Sault College beginning at 6 p.m.
