Sault Female Hockey Association meeting Wednesday

The Sault Female Hockey Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, March 31 at the John Rhodes Community Centre in the upstairs meeting room. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. with director reports, constitution changes and any new business to be discussed. At 8:00 p.m., an election for executive positions for the 2004 - 2005 season will take place.

Anyone wishing to seek a position on the executive for next season must attend this meeting. The AGM is an important meeting and the league is requesting that all SFHA parents attend.

Coaching applications for the 2004 - 2005 house league and Wildcat seasons are now available. Applications can be picked up at the AGM, local sporting goods stores or executive members. Deadline for submissions is April 30.

*** PLAYOFF UPDATE:

Game two in the Junior and Intermediate Division of the SFHA continues on Tuesday, March 30 at the Rankin Arena.

In the Junior Division, the Thessalon Lions take on Purvis Marine beginning at 7:00 p.m., with Thessalon leading the best-of-three final 1-0.

In Intermediate Division play, Best Western has a 1-0 lead on Holiday Inn and will look to wrap up their series in game two at 8:00 p.m.
