The Sault Female Hockey Association continued play last weekend with a slate of games in the intermediate and junior divisions. In intermediate, the Sault Wildcats ‘BB’ blanked Best Western 1-0.

The Sault Female Hockey Association continued play last weekend with a slate of games in the intermediate and junior divisions.

In intermediate, the Sault Wildcats ‘BB’ blanked Best Western 1-0. Sarah McCulloch scored the lone goal for the Wildcats while Miranda Medve recorded the shutout.

Station Mall shutout McDougal Fuels 2-0 backed by the performance of goaltender Dana Desaulnier. Megan Rouse and Kelly Bumbacco scored for the winners.

Krista McClelland, Jordana Sacco, Samantha Filek, Heather King, Amber Soltys, Tessa Kasch and Courtney Charette each scored in a Sault Wildcats ‘B’ 7-1 win over Station Mall. Laura Didier replied with the lone goal for Station Mall.

Didier then scored three goals to lead Station Mall past Best Western 3-1. Hanna Welton replied for Best Western.

Stephanie Graham recorded the shutout as the Wildcats ‘B’ blanked McDougal Fuels 3-0. McClelland, Filek and Charette scored for the winners.

In the junior division, Jen Elliot and Emily Wright scored to lead NuComm past Holiday Inn 2-1. Hanna Murray replied for Holiday Inn.

Jamie Sacco scored twice for Stitch King while Lindsay Aceti and Kayla Warmington scored once each for Purvis Marine in a 2-2 draw. In another contest, Breanna Buchan, and Kelsey Ochman scored for Stitch King while Morgan Twentymen recorded the shutout in a 2-0 win over NuComm.

Holiday Inn defeated Purvis Marine 6-1 as Shannon Sayers-Jones and Murray scored twice each. Shelby Sayers-Jones and Cassandra Tessaro scored once each for the winners while Taylor Dewling replied with a goal for Purvis Marine.
