The Soo Select Baseball Association is pleased to announce the Black Sox coaches for the upcoming 2007 Baseball season.

The Mosquito Black Sox will be coached by Rod Goodall. Rod is new to the Black Sox coaching team. He has many years experience in both playing and coaching in the House League system. Rod will be guiding the 10 & 11 year old Black Sox team and is looking forward to the experience.

The Pee Wee Black Sox return the coaching staff of Glenn Garson and Bob Turpin from the 2006 season. Glenn and Bob guided the 2006 Black Sox to Play-off Finalists, and Semi Final results in the Burlington Bulls Tournament this past season. Glenn and Bob look to build upon their success in 2006 with a solid returning core of players

The Bantam Black Sox introduce Chris Walls as this seasons skipper. Chris is a graduate of the Black Sox Baseball program. Chris also brings experience from the Missouri Valley Baseball program, as well as a successful season as coach of the 2006 Mosquito Black Sox team. In which they were League Finalists, Play-off finalists and Champions of the Elliot Lake Tournament this past season. Chris brings a wealth of baseball experience and knowledge, to the program.

The Midget Black Sox return the highly successful coaching team of Ryan Johns, Mike Lebel and Joe Yardnoff. This trio have helped more than 30 players develop and graduate through the Black Sox Baseball program, including recent 2006 New York Met draft pick Tyler Binkley. The Cambrian Mazda Black Sox have captured back to back Midget A Provincial Champions as recently as 2004 & 2005. Ryan, Mike & Joe look to build upon their success in 2006 in the Great Lakes Baseball League and Provincial Championships. A solid mix of new and seasoned veterans should fill out the 2007 roster.
