Just after nine o'clock tomorrow morning, Dave Torrie and Marty Abrams will be making their first mark on the Soo Greyhounds franchise.
The Ontario Hockey League priority selection draft will begin at 9 a.m. via the internet and general manager Torrie along with coach and assistant GM Abrams will make their first transactions as the team's hockey bosses.
Although, the results of this year's selections may not be known for a couple of seasons. Only the 16 year-old players selected in the first two rounds along with an additional 16 year-old picked anywhere in the draft are eligible to play this coming season.
Teams are allowed to pick any player on the eligible list from OHL central scouting born in 1987 and any undrafted born in 1985 or 86.
The Greyhounds will pick sixth overall with the top five picks in order belonging to Saginaw, Sudbury, Kingston, Erie and Mississauga.
The Hounds then have two picks in the second round in the sixth and eighth slot. After, the Greyhounds have no selection in the third, sixth, seventh and fifteenth rounds but have two picks in the fourth round.
These selections could change as teams have until 3 p.m. today to make draft order trades.
