The Soo Thunder find themselves behind the eight ball early at the All-Ontario Bantam AAA Hockey Championships in Mississauga.

On Monday morning, the Thunder, winners of the Northern Ontario Bantam Hockey League, fell 5-0 to the Waterloo Wolves before dropping a 6-1 decision to the Nepean Raiders in the afternoon.

Nickels Beduin scored the lone goal for the locals in the loss to Nepean.

The Thunder are back in action on Tuesday with two more games starting with the Thunder Bay Kings at 2 p.m. followed by a match against the Whitby Wildcats at 8 p.m.
