U-11 Civics win Superior Cup

The Scotiabank U-11 Boys Civics went undefeated on the weekend and captured the Lake Superior Cup on home soil by defeating the Sudbury Rebels 2-0. Both goals were scored by Brandon Grandinetti.

The Scotiabank U-11 Boys Civics went undefeated on the weekend and captured the Lake Superior Cup on home soil by defeating the Sudbury Rebels 2-0.

Both goals were scored by Brandon Grandinetti.

In the semi-finals, the Civics defeated the Sudbury Ahtletics 6-0. Leading the team was Anthony Stefano with three goals, Brandon Grandinetti with two and Jakob Persic with one.

In the preliminary round, wins were recorded over the Sudbury Rebels 3-2, Sudbury Athletics, 9-0 and Gaylord Thunder, 10-0.
