Bantam BB Wildcats win silver in Guelph

The AOE /Servicemaster Wildcats Bantam BB girls hockey team travelled to Guelph January 6-8, 2006 to play in the Guelph Thunderstorm Girls Hockey Tournament and came home with a silver medal.

The Wildcats won their first game against the Hamilton Hawks 5-2. Scoring for the Wildcats were Sarah McCulloch, Brianne Veale, Jasmine Roy, Katie Komsa and Jamie Fabbro.

In their second game, the Wildcats lost to the host team the Guelph Thunderstorm 2-0.

The Wildcats won their third game against Brantford Ice Cats 3-1. Scoring for the Wildcats were Jasmine Roy, Mallory Lesage and Katie Pietrzakowski.

In the semi-final game, the Wildcats beat Petrolia 2-1 in the third overtime period to earn a spot in the gold medal game. Brianne Veale scored both of the Soo goals.

In the gold medal game, the Soo lost 2-1 to London and finished with the silver medal. Jasmine Roy scored the only Soo goal.
