BDO Dunwoody extended their winning streak to five in a row, while Country Way picked up their first shut out win of the season.

*** GAME RESULTS:

Country Way – 2 Ontario Concrete – 0

Ontario Concrete" battled hard to pick up their first win but it was Country Way goaltender Sherri Collins who was rock solid in this game. In only her third start of the season, Collins turned away every shot from "The Concrete Crew" to earn the shut out. Debbie Shubat scored the winning goal with Heidi Frech getting an assist. Trish Evans added the insurance marker late in the third to seal the deal.

BDO Dunwoody – 6 Lafarge – 1

Wendy Basawa scored five times as BDO Dunwoody spanked Lafarge 6-1. Amanda Fata had BDO's other goal while Wendy Mandolesi, Amber Lahti and Jen Blahey each picked up an assist. Sarah Fischer scored Lafarge's only goal unassisted, spoiling Cat Schryer's shut out with 5:30 left in the second frame. Fischer's goal closed the gap to 3-1 but that was as close as Lafarge would get as BDO scored three unanswered goals to put the game out of reach.

Source for Sports – 4 Algoma Insurance – 3

It was a see-saw battle from start to finish as Source for Sports and Algoma Insurance traded goals throughout before Source emerged the winner.
