Algoma Manor Nursing Home invites applicants for clinical and non-clinical positions to its Job Fair on Friday, Sept. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Sault Community Career Centre, 503 Queen Street East, downtown Sault Ste. Marie.    

Located in Thessalon, Ont., Algoma Manor is a not-for-profit and CARF-accredited long-term care home providing reliable and quality care since 1967. Algoma Manor provides elderly and non-elderly residents alike the opportunity for 24-hour nursing care. They accommodate 96 residents, who range from fully mobile to bedridden, with 22 private, 24 semi-private, 48 basic and one short stay.

Algoma Manor’s team is made up of hardworking and dedicated healthcare professionals. They hold themselves to the highest safety and quality standards.  “Not my job” is not in their vocabulary. Algoma Manor is currently recruiting for the following positions:

  • Personal Support Workers
  • Registered Practical Nurses
  • Registered Nurses
  • Support Workers
  • Dietary Aides
  • Cooks
  • Housekeeping Staff
  • Resident Support (PSW scope)

The Algoma Manor team will be at the job fair to share details about in-house training opportunities, competitive compensation packages, innovative scheduling, and other great benefits. 

Attendees are asked to bring their resumes for on-the-spot interviews and hiring! Please note that proof of vaccination is encouraged but not mandatory. Access to reliable transportation is considered an asset.
