ART!FACTS is back for the winter semester for four online sessions of history, creativity and relaxation! The ArtSpeaks social prescription program was developed in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Museum and sponsored by Algoma University’s student Union.

ART!FACTS brings together an exploration of heritage objects from the Sault Ste. Museum's collections with arts-based mindfulness activities facilitated by The ArtSpeaks Project. Each session invites participants to take time for creative self-care and relaxation. Social Prescribing is a holistic approach to wellness that recognizes the positive impact that the arts, culture and other non-clinical supports have on one’s health and wellbeing.

Registration is open to community members in Sault Ste. Marie, and students of Algoma University. Participants who register will receive a free art kit (must be an Algoma University student, or a community member of Sault Ste. Marie, or reside within Ontario).

Registration Info:

For Non-Student Community Members:
