The Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club held the Gas Raffle at North 82 on November 11, 2015 with proceeds going towards the SSM CNIB.

• 1st prize winner of the $500 gas card is Verna Scott, ticket #849
• 2nd prize winner of the $300 gas card is Shirley Gallander, ticket #2221
• 3rd prize winner of the $200 gas card is Marilyn Schmidt, ticket #1965

Some of the areas that the SSM Lions Club supports include:  Youth activities, health and welfare, sight conservation, Canadian Diabetes Association, hearing conservation, senior citizen housing and community betterment. 

They also operate the Pointe Des Chenes Family RV Park and Campground. 

The Lions mantra is of being “Knights of the Blind” as requested in 1925 by Helen Kellar.
