Local man wins in Navy League's 50/50 draw

NAVY LEAGUE OF CANADA

The Navy League of Canada's 50/50 draw was held today, Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, and the winner was Michael Parent. Congratulations, and thank you to all who supported us by purchasing tickets.

The prize amount was $500.

The Navy League of Canada is a non-profit volunteer lead organization that supports youth education and leadership programs. We support young Canadians via positive citizenship initiatives that reinforce the value of the navy and our service members.

Navy League is for kids aged nine to 12 and meets at the armouries on Pine Street on Friday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Sea Cadets is for kids aged 12 to 19, and they meet on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Both programs are free for participants, and registration is always open.
