SAULT COMMUNITY CAREER CENTRE

The Sault Community Career Centre, in partnership with several local employers, is hosting a virtual hiring event until Wednesday, May 20. Local employers are looking for lawn/grounds maintenance workers, general construction labourers, garden centre workers, and roofers. 

Employers in these sectors are encouraged to call 705-759-0909 to receive assistance and potential incentives while looking to obtain qualified candidates for these types of positions.   

Skills and requirements for these positions include: experience operating basic field-specific tools and equipment, sustained periods of physical labour, lifting, willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, related experience, ability to work at heights, willing to maintain safe and clean work areas, and openness to performing other labour and elemental activities as directed and needed. Driver’s licence an asset. Own transportation to and from worksites is expected.
