As downtown gets set to host a special community event this week, residents are being encouraged to make a stop at their local museum.
The Sault Ste. Marie Museum will relaunch its Clock Tower Gift Shop just in time for Moonlight Magic this week, the museum said in a news release.
The gift shop offers a range of unique and fun gift ideas.
Choose from an array of museum souvenirs, as well as books by local authors, vintage items, home decor, and candle items.
Also available is local community crafted jewelry, maple syrup, tasty chocolate treats and artwork by members of the Algoma Art Society.
As part of the Downtown Association’s annual Moonlight Magic, the museum will have a warm-up station serving hot chocolate.
The museum will have free admission to its galleries, and newly featured vendor products in the gift shop. These include Hogan’s Homestead, Yummy Soy Scents, Sweet Change Chocolates, and Steph Perri Creative.
The ArtSpeaks Project will also be hosting a ‘Bad Art Club’ community mural event in the Durham Gallery on the main floor.
Moonlight Magic runs Thursday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 10 p.m. on Queen Street from Pim to Dennis streets.
