St. Vincent Place food bank reminds clients to bring their own reusable bags

The St. Vincent Place food bank would like to remind all clients that it is important they bring their own reusable bags when picking up food.

This is in anticipation of the upcoming ban on plastic bags in Sault Ste. Marie. With fewer bags in circulation, we will have an extremely limited ability to provide bags for clients. We have implemented this policy now to ensure clients get in the habit of bringing their own bags before the ban takes place.

Those who would like to donate bags to St. Vincent Place can drop them off to the main office from Monday to Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
