Enter the What’s Your Pick? contest by voting for the book of your choice from this year’s Canada Reads contenders. Vote in person by filling out a ballot at either the James L. McIntyre Centennial library at 50 East Street or the North Branch at 232-C Northern Avenue. Plus, you can vote from the comfort of your home by emailing your choice lib.info1@cityssm.on.ca

The 2022 contenders for the one book to connect us all are:

  • What Strange Paradise by Omar El Akhad,
  • Washington Black by Esi Eduygan,
  • Five Little Indians by Michelle Good,
  • Scarborough by Julia Hernandez and
  • Life in the City of Dirty Water by Clayton Thomas-Muller.

The contest is now open to the public and runs until Thursday, March 31, 2022 with a winner to be announced on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Drop by a branch today and check out a Canada Reads book and vote!
