Representation from the Algoma Autism Foundation was on hand at the general membership meeting of Sault Search and Rescue to present a cheque for $6,000.

This funding is in addition to previous contributions, to further support the Project Lifesaver Program.

The PLS program has been proven to save lives and greatly decrease search times for those enrolled in the program.

This donation is a direct result of community support through Algoma Autism Foundation fundraising efforts, The Esquire Club Catch the Ace , The Algoma Ride for Autism and personal donations to the foundation.

The Algoma Autism Foundation is celebrating 10 years of supporting this community and would like to acknowledge the volunteers, corporate sponsors, collaborations, fundraising efforts and continued support our organization from this community. The Algoma Autism Foundation remains 100 per cent local and 100 per cent volunteer.
