Sault North residents asked to check mailboxes for vote by mail kits

Sault North (Goulais and Aweres) residents should check their mailboxes for vote by mail kits for the election of school board trustees.

If you are a Sault North (Goulais or Aweres) resident and did not receive a vote by mail kit, please call the election coordinator at 705-989-4636 by 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 to arrange for a kit to be hand-delivered to your residence. A member of the election team will come to your residence this week to provide you with a ballot. An envelope system will be used to protect the secrecy of your vote. Your ballot will be placed in a sealed ballot box and counted after the close of voting on Voting Day, Oct. 24, 2022.

Sault North electors may also choose to attend the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre in person during regular business hours to obtain a ballot up to and including Monday, Oct. 24.
