The Stories Steeped in Stone Performance series is proud to release our season lineup of music, theatre, storytelling, poetry, dance, performance art and heritage demonstrations. We have amazing Algoma talent ready to surprise you whether you join in-person or via live stream while enjoying some tasty treats and beverages!

Each show features a guest MC to guide the evening’s lineup of headliners, guest artists and presenters inspired by this place we call home. Those of you that have already joined the adventure, THANK YOU! We hope more and more will join in as we experience live culture once again.

A limited number of in-person tickets are available through the City of Sault Ste Marie's ACTIVE NET online registration service--click on the REGISTER button and enter "Stories" in the activities search--or by calling the Ermatinger Clergue at 705-759-5443. Tickets are $25 and includes 2 wine / beer / other beverage, and themed heritage appetizers.

The one hour shows are also being live streamed out to audiences everywhere on the Friends of the ECNHS Youtube channel.

All shows start at 7:00pm.

Thursday April 14th at 7:00 pm. Cindy Ellen Crawford brings "A Sense of Place: A casual conversation about what life was like, here, along the river in the 1820-1840s." A Spoken sampler about an emerging town; with Lyne Gagnon MC, songbird Juliana Regan and heritage presenter Myril-Lynn Brason-Lediett.

May 26: Piano and storytelling with Ellen Van Laar 1 of 2

June 9: Dance and theatre with Skye Smith and the students of the Northern Arts Academy

June 23: Dance, mixed media, drum and theatre with Tracie Louttit, Theresa Binda, and Kristin DeAmorin

July 14th: Performance Art with Annie King and Michael Burtch

Aug. 18: Theatre with Tim Murphy

Sept. 8: Music, dance and storytelling with Rusty McCarthy and Maja Bannerman

Oct. 2: Music and storytelling with Britta Wolfert

Oct. 13:  Music with M.D. Dunn & ensemble
