Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in her 103rd year. Predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Maggie (Pace) Acheson and her brother Bert Acheson (Ailene). Left to mourn are nieces Rose Meeks, Joy MacDonald, and her nephew Norman Acheson and their families. She will also be missed by many cousins.
Margaret was born in Thessalon. She was a career nurse working for 25 years with Latin America Mission in Costa Rica. Retiring to Thessalon in 1975 where she nursed at the Algoma Manor for 8 years. She spent the last 19 years a resident of Pathway Retirement Home.
