Born in Ayrshire, Scotland to William and Mary Gourlay Price. Resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario since 1966. Long-time member of Precious Blood Cathedral. Survived by her sister Mae and brother-in-law Don McCarthy of Ishpeming, Michigan, niece Lesley Currie (Mark) of Delta, BC, nephew Stephen Price (Ciorsdan) of Ayr, Scotland and great nephews Jack & Alex Currie and Dr. David Price. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert (2000) and her brother Bill (2004). Honoring Vera's wishes, there will be no public funeral services. We wish to thank Dr. Hirvi, the nurses and staff of the FJ Davey Home, 2nd floor, Apple Orchard, for their loving care of Vera.
