Patrick Joseph Adams, 54, passed away on January 25th, 2021, at his home in Montreal, Quebec. The son of Paul Adams (deceased) and Rita (Nevin) Adams, he was born June 25th, 1966, in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
Ephesians 4:32 - “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in christ.”
Generous, polite and considerate by nature, Patrick succeeded in all of his personal and professional endeavours. Patrick’s love for travel and academics went hand in hand. With degrees from Western University – (Masters of Library and Information Science) and Carleton University (Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science) he went on to a fortunate and rewarding career path in IT that took him to England and India as he worked for Thomson-Reuters, Essar Algoma Steel, the University of Ottawa Health Institute, and others. He was also successful as an entrepreneur at Adams Information Technology Consulting. He was an accomplished pianist, studying with the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto - Performers Association, and had many years’ experience in competitive swimming.
He is survived by his Mother Rita (Nevin) Adams and brothers, Michael Adams of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario (daughter, Sarah Adams and granddaughter Blake of Calgary); Paul Adams and wife Ricky of Toronto, Ontario; Stephen Adams and wife Jennifer of Ottawa, Ontario (sons, Mark and Sean Adams).
