AMBEAULT, Wallace (Wallie)

Posted

Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday March 12, 2004; Wallie in his 87th year, was called by God to join his cherished late wife of 60 years Margaret (Parsons) who passed away last May and who he missed deeply. At Christmas, Wallie spent three wonderful weeks in Victoria B.C. with his only son George (Irene) and three grandchildren, Marcie, Jason and Jonathan, who heaped boundless love on the best papa and dad that God could have blessed them with. Wallie’s friendship and humorous wit will be missed dearly by his sister Margaret Trowbridge (Morley) who saw him daily at the Finnish Retirement Home where both lived. He is survived by another sister, Ruth Wilson (George) in California and brother Frank (Edith) in Florida. He is predeceased by sisters Anna Shaughnessy (late Oliver), Alice Sanderson (late Jack) and Marie Campbell (Bas) and by brothers Edward, Wilfred (Hazel) and Robert (Georgia). He shared a special bond with many nieces and nephews and treasured his numerous sincere friends. We are very grateful to nephews Tom Ambeault and Gord Shaughnessy for the loving care and companionship they gave their uncle, especially the last few years when he needed it most. Wallie always expressed that God had blessed him with a good life filled with a loving family and exceptional friends.
