It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their father on Monday, July 11, 2005, at Sault Area Hospitals, Plummer Site. He died peacefully of a broken heart, five days after his beloved wife of sixty years, Marjorie (predeceased July 6, 2005). Donald was in his 82nd year. Loving father of Donna Komhyr (John), Dianne James (Pat), Judy Paquin (Gerry), Randy (Janet), Keith (Jackie), Doug (Dwanna) and Jeff (Janet). Cherished grandfather of Sandra Bowen (Jeff), Jeff Anderson (Rebecca), Rachel James (Matt Drost), Robin James, Patricia James, Matthew James (Maija), Donald Komhyr (Anne McLaughlin), Susan Komhyr-Smith (Tyler), Laura Komhyr (Chris Joseph), Jeremy Paquin (Aimee LeClair), Sarah Ferron (Jeff), Julie Chapman (Matt), Shawn Anderson (Sabrina), Ryan Anderson, Katie DeFazio (Chris), Chrissy Anderson (Derek Lendrum), Shane Anderson (Linnea), Jamie Anderson (Jayda), Susie Stong (Cory), Billy Anderson, Sheena Anderson (Dave Cress) and Kerri Anderson. Proud great grandfather of Randi-Lynn Anderson, Jesse, Ema and Noah Harding, Hannah James, Mackenzie and Michaela Chapman, Gwenivere Smith, Jaden Paquin, Darien and Seth Stong, Kaileigh Anderson and Conner Anderson (born on Saturday, July 9, 2005). Donald was the son of the late Norman and Christina Anderson (MacDonald), the son-in-law of the late John and Viola Ferguson and dear brother of Marjorie Smith, the late Lillian Veltri (late John), the late Jack Anderson (Rose), Coyla Brown (Harold) and Betty Corbett (late Gerald). He was also the brother-in-law of Betty Armstrong (Bill), the late June Edgerton (Ben), Jack Ferguson (Alice), Keith Ferguson (Lucille), Eldon Ferguson (Irene) and Elwood Ferguson (Maureen). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 3 pm. Rev. Bill Stadnyk officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 25, are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday at 3 pm for a memorial service for their late brother.
