Suddenly, at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Alice at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of Hiram, loved mother of Joan Vaillancourt (Milt) of Sault Ste. Marie and Glen Fizzell (late Nicole) of Timmins. She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Alice is predeceased by her parents and her 3 brothers. Friends may call at the Gilmartin Funeral Home, 140 Churchill Ave., Wawa, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005. A funeral service will be held at the First United Church on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Erin Todd officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the donor's favourite would be appreciated by the family.
