It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Irene, on Sunday March 25, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late William Archibald. She will be forever cherished by her children Roger (Kathy), Ronnie (Lorie), Robbin Grunt (Brian), Rhonda Bowers. Special Nan to her grandchildren Kevin (Svetlana), Matthew (Lori), Alicia, Lucas (Michelle), Becky, Tonya (Corey), Tyler (Abbe), Jesse, Justin. Great Nan to Valerie, Alex, Dylan, Breydan, Lexi, Lauren and Ethan. Irene will also be missed by a number of nieces and nephews, many whom are overseas. She made wonderful friends and memories working in the hospitality industry up until the young age of 83. Her generosity and kindness towards people will never be forgotten. This remarkable women, mother and Nan will be dearly missed. In respecting Irene’s wishes a private family service will be held. The Very Rev. James McShane officiating. I walk along the windblown path,
With leaves strew at my feet,
The trees are bent from nature’s wrath,

You’ve been given many a feather,

All wounds have healed, now turn your gaze,
There is no risk of falling.
Remember that it’s me the crow,
Who’s helped you find your wings,
You finally found a place to rest,
And are at peace with all it brings.
