Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with a loved one holding her hand on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the age of 51.
Dear daughter of Dora and the late Bob Armstrong. Loving sister of Ryan Benjamin and Marla Miller (Rick). Special aunt of Ty Miller (Jessica) and Joshua Miller. Great aunt of Isabell and Lily. Cherished niece of many aunts and uncles. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her CLA family whom loved her dearly. Marcia was born with Downs Syndrome and faced many challenges throughout her life. She conquered many obstacles with stubbornness and determination. She never let anyone or anything get in her way to achieve her goals. She loved her Montreal Canadians and would cozy up with her Habs blanket to watch her games. A special thank you to the CLA staff for their care, compassion and love for Marcia over the years and never letting her be alone. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their exceptional care for Marcia.
As per family wishes no funeral services will be held and cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to Community Living Algoma (CLA) would be greatly appreciated.
