Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2004 from the General Hospital at the age of 87. Husband of Marie McCluskie and the late Pauline. Son of the late Arturo and Nonzia Barsanti. Father of Raymond (Jane) Barsanti, Loris (Gail) Barsanti and Loraine Martin (Jack). Grandfather of Kim, Paul (Sofia), Todd, Christopher (Nancy), Susan Steward (Scott), RaeAnn Harris (Chris) and Daniel Fera (Juline). Nonno Sergio of Kate and Luke Barsanti. Brother of Nancy Tomassini (late Gino). Survived by sisters-in-law Nora Barsanti and Jane Barsanti. Sergio is predeceased by his brothers Ugo, Harvey, Elio (late Angelina), Lido Barsanti and sister Norma Scali (late Joseph). Friends may call at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, December 13, 2004 from 11 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm from St. Jerome’s Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer clinic would be appreciated by the family.
